The Evolution of Himba Boy with Beads

This artwork is inspired through my love for Africa and all its people. I love the spontaneity and quality of the mark, each line fresh and expressive. I aim for minimalism in my work where positive and negative play against each other to form an image the viewer can recognise. In all my portraits I pay close attention to the eyes to draw the viewer in and make him or her understand the subject more.
